Epsilon Systems Solutions, Inc.is seeking a contingent full time Metrics and Process Improvement Support Technician in San Diego, CA.

Summary: Provide metrics, process improvement, and program support to our customer related to U.S. Navy ships and vessels.

Duties and Responsibilities:

• Responsible for providing program support and assistance throughout the Engineering Department to include; administrative, clerical support, record keeping, financial management, contract oversight, audit and inspection readiness, logistics, and human resources services.
• Develop metrics, format data, and interpret results for process improvement.
• Provide metric data interpretation result recommendations to department leadership.
• Generate reports and department correspondence.
• Facilitate team events in support of strategic planning and process improvement.
• Provide support in the accomplishment of designated requirements.

Required Qualifications:

• High School Diploma or equivalent
• Four (4) years full-time experience with metrics, process improvement, or related experience
• Must be proficient in MS Office
• Excellent oral and written communication skills
• Ability to obtain/maintain a DoD Secret Security Clearance

Preferred Qualifications:

• Previous Navy or Shipyard experience
• Lean Manufacturing Certification
• Six Sigma Green Belt Certification

ADA Notations:

• Requires walking, reaching, sitting and concentration in the presence of occasional noise
• Ability to lift, carry and move objects up to 50 lbs. in weight
• Ability to work in office, warehouse, laboratory, pier side, and shipboard locations.
• Noise conditions range from very quiet to loud, hearing protection may be required at times.
• Employee may be required to travel to different RMCs or Naval Ship locations. Travel may include extended underway periods and travel outside of the continental United States.
